Give kudos
As we went through more lesson plan presentations tonight I felt super excited and proud of all us on how hard we have worked on putting these lesson plans together. I think that we have put a lot of thought and time into these babies and it is showing! Great job to everyone who had presented tonight. I'll go through each of of you though:
Lindsay Holler: You're always so good at being descriptive and explaining things. I always know exactly what you are meaning and could picture your lesson plan in my head. I loved the idea of a family tree, I honestly do not remember ever doing a family tree it school. Great job!
Andrew Elliott: After class I went and watched the wolf video and it made your lesson plan even more fun! I love learning about animals and ecosystems, I feel as though this would be such a fun and interactive lesson to teach. I think this lesson would give student the ability to be creative but learn so much! Nice work!
Kylie Woods: I still have T- Swift in my head, but I am totally okay with it! If I am being honest I always hated history and was never good at it. Still to this day some of it is just hard for me to understand, I always have to have someone explain it differently to me. I think this is why I enjoyed your lesson so much because you are teaching history in a fun way where the students will be engaged but you are also relating it to something the students already know in which helps them catch on faster and remember. Awesome job!
Lisset Holt: This lesson will be so much for to teach! I think students will get really engaged in this lesson and you will have some giggles like you did tonight! I love how you made it fun and let the students be creative, that is so important. Kudos to you!
Andrew Hubble: Quotes are my favorite!! I use quotes for everything, when I am happy, sad, excited, or need a blog post to write about! I think this will allow students to see the true meaning behind quotes and actually have the students engaged and excited about this lesson! Way to be creative!

Rylee,
ReplyDeleteI really like the picture that you posted with this blog, very cute! I agree that everyone did a wonderful job on lesson plan presentations this week. They were all very different, none of the lessons were exactly the same in anyway! I think that they are setting the bar high for those of us who have not gone yet. I can tell by just the lessons that I have seen so far that everyone is going to rock their unit plans! I agree that Lindsay does a very good job at being descriptive in the way she writes her plans, and I also liked Andrews Wolf video that he had attached, the kids are going to enjoy this a lot! I enjoyed hearing from Kylie, I loved the same of her unit and I think because of all the videos and youthly attitude of her lesson the kids will be very engaged. Lisset did a great job on her lesson as well, I always enjoy hearing from her! Andrew did a lesson I have never seen before but I think it will be very interesting for his students and they will love it! Everyone did wonderful.
Great Post!

Rylee, you are so right, everyone had such creative and fun lessons planned for their classrooms. It is so awesome to be able to hear everyone's ideas and I can't wait for us to be able to implement them. I'm totally taking notes and will be borrowing some ideas from everyone.
